| OUR HOME
We once had a house, with a lovely view
Surrounded by our olive trees…
The sun was our light, the sea was our pool…
Our sky had no limit and so did our dreams…
But one day the strangers came with their heavy rifles
Our house they stole, but not our home
Our olive trees they uprooted…
Imagine how your father's childhood was demolished
But his dreams and hope they kept…
And never will they be theft !
My dear, I ask you to resist…
From great grandfather to son, we will subsist
Until our freedom, until peace
Until we get all we insist…
We will not be named as a number on a list
Our blood is one, together it is mixed
Our brothers and sisters we will assist
We will not disappear in a midnight mist
My dear, we will exist !
Our house we will regain…
Our olive trees will grow again…
To out beloved Palestine we will return…
We will return !
